Fruitful World
Cultures across the globe have historically recognized the miraculous gift that is trees. In addition to the air we breathe and the fruit we eat, trees also give us the opportunity to embrace patience and recognize the importance of taking action for future generations. As it is written in the Talmud, “I found a fruitful world, because my ancestors planted it for me. Likewise I am planting for my children” (Ta’anit 23a).
